My Courses

This semester I have a lighter schedule than I have had in the past. Right now I am taking five courses which are Math, First Aid and Safty, LifeTime Fitness, Internet Research, and Philosophy. Starting on February 20th I begin a sixth course, American Cinema. Out of all the classes, I would have to say my math class is the hardest. Math is getting to the point where there are just as many letters as there are numbers, and there are problems that have similar steps to get an answer which can make things confusing. I don't really know which class is my favorite yet, Philosophy has interesting concepts but I have yet to do any real works like a test or a paper; First Aid and Safty has a lot of hands-on work that is fun to do although the tests/study guides are pretty demanding. My easiest class is definitely LifeTime Fitness. All I have to do is sign in at the gym and get an hour workout in, sign out and I'm done. There is no outside work I need to put in (except a 10 question final) and the workout routine is nothing crazy. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to start living a healthier life style, and get an easier credit. So in all this is definitely an easier semester on me then last semesters were I had seven courses including a lab. I am just hoping my American Cinema class isn't anything crazy.

The Zoo Life

If I was forced to live in a zoo, museum, or library for the rest of my life and be provided the option to pick one of the three, I would choose the zoo. In my opinion the zoo would be the most enjoyable of the three. I would be able to spend my days with real animals that I can interact with, and not just stare at stuffed skins or skeleton (even though I really enjoy going to museums). Not to mention some zoos have sections with robotic dinosaurs which counters the prehistoric section of the museum. I would sleep in the first aid room/infirmary because thee are probably beds or couches to sleep on with blankets. There are lots of concession stands and restaurants in zoos to keep my self well nourished and healthy. The best part would definitely have to be feeding the animals. Throwing fish to seals and polar bears just sounds like a lot of fun. For the location of the zoo I would hope it is somewhere that has a good temperature all year of about 75-85 degrees with the occasional really out or cold day. This would allow for the most pleasant experience and chance to get a wider variety of animals. That’s why I would live in a zoo.

I'll Never Forget

The thing I am sure I will never forget when I get older is my dog Nemo. I can never forget about him because he has been in my life for such a long time, but I really don't remember all my child hood because it is natural to put unimportant members in the back of the mind as one gets older which is why I think this time in my life will stick with me more. Nemo is pretty chill but can get a little crazy which I love about him. He is always fun to be around and pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I think adults forget about their pets because they really don't think about them to much, or they never didn't pay a lot of attention to them. I admit he isn't my main focus 24/7, but I do pay a good amount of my free time ( when I'm watching tv) I like to pet him. Whenever he is in the playing mood I like to play with him and I would do anything for him. That's why I will never forget about Nemo.

Wolves of the Beyond

When given the question “If you had to make a book/book series read by the entire world, what book would you pick?” I had to really think about it, and found it in a book series called Wolves of the Beyond. Out of the seven books (I haven’t read the last two) the first two are the most important in a bigger meaning sense. The first book shows a young book left to die, survive the horrible odds and actually flourish and prosper. This book would show kids that no matter the odds and the problem at hand that they have a chance to succeed and flourish. The second book starts off of the second book with the main charter Falhon finding a pack of wolves. Although he is at the bottom of the pack and is treated with disrespect, but he soon wins a game and becomes a highly respected wolf. This would show kids that people will try to pull them down, but they could still accomplish their goals.

What I didn't get to do

During break I for the most part did everything I wanted to do. I got to watch some movies, see friends and family, eat lots of food, and etc. There is two things I did not do over Christmas break. I was unable to watch the new Hobbit movie and go sledding. I have been waiting to see this movie since I seen the second movie. Unfortunately me and my family were always busy or no one was in thee mood to go to the movies. I am not really disappointed though because I'm sure I will eventually see the movie, so it's not that big of a deal to me. Not being able to go sledding was a bit disappointing however. This entire winter their has been very few days when it has snowed, and the days that it did snow, it barely snowed a couple centimeters, but life will go on. These were the only to things I was unable to do over Christmas break, so it was overall pretty successful.

3 Super Powers

If I could pick 3 super powers ( from the list given) I would choose Telekinesis, Ability to freeze, fast forward, rewind, or slow time, and invulnerability. I would choose telekinesis over more popular powers like super strength or flight because telekinesis gives me those two powers. I can lift things with my mind  which gives me super strength, I can lift myself up which gives me flight, bend waves of light to make me invisible, block sound to make me super silent and give me peace and quiet, and I can use it if I'm feeling lazy and don't want to get up to get something. I would choose time manipulation so I can freeze/slow down time allowing me to have all the time in the world to do anything and I would  be moving at my normal speed while in freeze/slow-mo state so to other people I would be moving super fast. Lastly I would pick invulnerability so I am reassured that I can never be hurt while I'm fighting bad guys or saving people from collapsing buildings.

Island get away

If I was able to customize my own private island for a vacation I would have a lot of cool things and fun activities to do. First I would place the island in the Caribbean Sea. Since the Caribbean is well know to have sharks, I would put a fence around the island so I could swim without worrying about being eaten by a shark. There would be a lot of fun things to do both on land and water. On land I would have a basketball court, go carts, put-put course, and there would be a huge house with a under ground man cave with a miniature movie theater, gaming area, and ping pong. The water activities would be jet skies, water trampoline, huge hamster balls to run around in, and the best part would be a sling shot that flings people in the air then down to the water. This would be my customized island get away.
